About Support. The most remarkable thing about the Canon R5 mirrorless camera is its ability to capture exceptionally sharp images, thanks to an impressive IBIS system, revolutionary autofocus system, and huge 45MP full-frame sensor. The camera can also shoot bursts at up to 20 fps with the electronic shutter and 12 fps with the mechanical shutter so you can easily capture high-speed action. But the camera can also capture slow motion with 4K at p. The sensor is capable of reaching 15 stops of dynamic range.
Alongside an unbeatable sensor is the on-sensor phase detect autofocus points capable of tracking subjects with extraordinary accuracy. Suffice to say, the image resolution and quality this camera produces are unparalleled.
Yet even with such a huge sensor, the mirrorless camera is remarkably compact. And despite the record-breaking megapixel count, the camera can still shoot in burst mode at 10 fps. Your choice of camera comes down to the type of professional photography you want to do too. A professional sports photographer might carefully consider the FPS specs to ensure the camera can handle the fast-moving athletes.
Meanwhile, a photojournalist might prefer a rugged, compact camera body that can endure extreme conditions. Professional photographers will likely spend more and focus more attention on camera lenses than the camera body. The number of lenses you need depends on your budget and the type of photography you want to undertake. On the other hand, you wouldn't want it to be your primary camera if you were photographing combat in Syria.
I think the problem is with the word "professional". It's basically a person who makes a living as a photographer. A better question would be: can the T5i produce photos that draw the admiration of others? The answer is yes, in most circumstances. But it wouldn't last long in combat, storms at sea, earthquakes, volcanoes, sand storms, and overly sensitive mothers of the bride. As others have noted, the camera is secondary to the skills of the photographer, which are more likely to keep you in the good graces of mothers of the bride than your camera.

Professionalism has very little to do with the equipment you use, it is to do with the ability of the photographer. Jan 01, 9. You can get fantastic quality photographs using "pro" lenses on an entry level DSLR.
The Rebel does lack an advanced AF system that some photographers might prefer. It does however, support advanced ETTL electronic through the lens and spot metering modes that we use constantly on a wedding day to get the lighting correct for the scenes.
These are essential needs and the Rebel is up to the task. It simply offers the standard ISO speeds we are accustomed to , , , , , , and This simply equates to more post work to clean ISO noise in Lightroom if it bothers you. The shutter is noisy in a completely different way. Especially in a silent church while two people are exchanging their vows. This is something to take great care with. For us, knowing that better image quality could be had from better a camera was certainly our driving force from upgrading to a full frame.
However, that was not the only benefit that was to be had from making the upgrade. If you are a working photographer this matters and the upgrade to a pro series camera makes a ton of sense when the need arrises.
